Copeco ja emta kutsuvad osalema “the city composing” kaasaegse muusika projektis

CoPeCo ja Eesti Muusika- ja Teatriakadeemia kutsuvad üles kõiki osalema 1.-19.detsembrini algatuses ja projektis “THE CITY COMPOSING”, mille raames kutsutakse üles kirjutama muusikat, luuletusi, meloodiaid, tekste, kinnipüütud hetki, zheste, ideid ja kõike seda kirja panema noodivihikusse.

Üleskirjutatu esitatakse ja mängitakse ette International European Union Master CoPeCo rahvusvaheliste üliõpilaste poolt (Contemporary Performance and Composition www.copeco.net) 10.jaanuaril 2015 KUMU kunstimuuseumi auditooriumis kell 19.00

Noodivihik paikneb Eesti Kunstiakadeemia Estonia pst 7 hoone 1. ja 2. korruse vahelisel trepimademel The City Composing plakati juures. Ootame teie osalemist! Pange oma idee kirja!

THE CITY COMPOSING

“The City Composing” is a project that gives the chance to everybody to be a musical composer for one day.

People will have the possibility to write their ideas and listen to the creation afterwards in a concert where professional musicians will preform these non-professional scores. This is a great chance to seek the musical creativity of people about what they want to express and how they can write it down.

During 10 days there will be in different places around the city music notebooks where everybody can write and draw music or text. After this material will be collected and rearranged by a professional musician that will create the concert score and work on it with the performers.

The finality is to create connection between composers, performers and the audience, involving normal people in the musical process creation.

WHEN

During the beginning of December the collection of scores and in the beginning of January the concert.

WHO

Hara Alonso will be the composer that does the rearrangement of the scores, writing parts for the musicians and composing a connection between the different ideas in the notebooks.

The performers will be students from International European Union Master CoPeCo (Contemporary Performance and Composition: www.copeco.net) that are one semester in different cities during two years, starting from Tallinn this Autumn, Stockholm, Lyon and finally Hamburg. The musicians are:

Elad Bardes, guitar (Israel)

Pedro Gonzalez, violin (Spain)

David Fox, percussion (USA)

Carla Genchi, voice (Italy)

Sylvain Devaux, oboe (France)

Hara Alonso, piano (Spain)

WHERE

The notebooks will be placed in different spaces of Tallinn, giving the possibility to different kind of people to express their ideas. Mainly will be in the lobby of public spaces:

-Universities (Tallinn University, Academy of Arts)

-Libraries (National Library)

-Museums (Kumu, Adamson-Ericu)

-Shopping malls (Solaris)

-Hospital

-Retirement Home for old people (Nõmme Sotsiaalkeskus)

-Bus Station

The project has the support of the Music Academy Concert Organisation in the production, in charge of Marili Jõgi and Brigitta Davidjants. 

The cost of the project is supported by the Music Academy, so the spaces have just to provide a table where to place the music notebooks in the lobby of the buildings. The logo of the places involved can be place in the posters and included in the advertisement of the project.
