The Department of Scenography prepares stage designers specialising either on theatre or puppet animation.

The teaching methodology of the department emphasizes acquirement of fundamental concepts and skills of stage design; essential knowledge is offered about film and video art.
The aim is to raise independently thinking and acting artists/stage designers. In the programme, the stage production is regarded as an inclusive experience, and upon creating it, the actor, the director, the artist, as well as the environment bear an equally important meaning.
