A master student Sander Joon’s animaton film “Velodrool” was chosen as Best of the Festival at the Melbourne International Animation Festival in 2016.
The film was made during his bachelor studies here at the Estonian Academy of Arts under the mentorship of Priit and Olga Pärn in 2015 when he graduated cum laude. He is currently continuing his studies at the international master programme in Animation at the EAA.
Velodrool has won numerous prizes, including the Fredrikstad Animation Festival where it won the Grand Prix and has been selected to various festivals, most recently to SICAF in Seoul, Korea.
