Toetajad: Eesti Kultuurkapital, Eesti Kultuuriministeerium, Peri AS.

EKKM on näituste ajal avatud T–P 12–19
Sissepääs tasuta

PLATFORM
23 September 2017 — 29 October 2017

Artists: Neanderthal Cave School, Viktor Gurov, Hedi Jaansoo, Kristel Raesaar, Pire Sova

Vernissage on September 22 at 6pm.

The exhibition takes place on the ground floor of EKKM.
The exhibition is part of the main programme of Tallinn Photomonth ’17 contemporary art biennial.

For the autumn semester of Neanderthal Cave School, artists Viktor Gurov, Hedi Jaansoo, Kristel Raesaar and Pire Sova will take up residencies at the Contemporary Art Museum of Estonia (EKKM).

The ecology of contemporary art is neither separate from the political nor beyond the markets. If the art world is a model of reality, then what sort of reality do our relationships and power trajectories, our institutions and ambitions mirror? The get-togethers of the Neanderthal Cave School will continue with joint readings, meandering chats, small parties, workshops, guided meditations and long walks. Everybody is welcome to the platform – at an equal level, on our terms.

Supported by: Cultural Endowment of Estonia, Estonian Ministry of Culture, Peri AS.

During the exhibitions EKKM is open Tue–Sun 12–7pm
Free admission
