Kadi Adrikorn, MA 2 (fashion design), PH INDICATOR APRON

PH INDICATOR APRON gains inspiration from the property of magna doodles on which it is possible to write, delete and rewrite the content over and over again. After experimentation with a number of materials, the colour changing property of pH indicator paper is discovered and translated to textile material. The final result, the apron, can be activated when applying liquid on it. The apron’s beetroot pink changes to green and yellow when in contact with an alkaline solution.
