On 16–17 October, MängudeÖÖ Conference 2026 will bring together game developers, designers, composers, VR/AR enthusiasts, marketers, and other creative industry professionals from Estonia and abroad.
On Friday, 16 October, the conference takes over the stages at T1 Venue, featuring more than 20 game industry experts and creative professionals across two parallel stages.
This year’s speakers include internationally renowned game industry expert Rami Ismail (Nuclear Throne, Ridiculous Fishing), Mike Klubnika, creator of Buckshot Roulette, and Simon Landry, Grammy Award-winning Music Supervisor at Ubisoft.
On Saturday, you can explore the domestic games competing for the “Estonian Game of the Year 2026” title, and on October 17, workshops and masterclasses await, organized in collaboration with the EKA New Media Department. Saturday Workshops and Masterclasses
Saturday’s programme offers opportunities to gain practical skills, develop your own game projects, and explore different aspects of game creation. All workshops are held in English. A MängudeÖÖ Conference ticket is required to participate. Places are limited, and advance registration is required.
Rami Ismail Masterclass

Internationally recognised independent game developer and industry ambassador Rami Ismail invites participants to bring their finished game, prototype, or game pitch for an in-depth workshop.
Together, participants will analyse their projects, identify their strengths, explore opportunities for improvement, and discuss how to communicate their ideas more clearly while highlighting what makes their games unique.
Participants will receive tailored feedback and practical suggestions for their next development steps.

Godot Game Engine for Beginners

Interested in making games but not sure where to start? This hands-on workshop introduces the Godot game engine and its core mechanics.
Designed for participants with little or no previous experience, the workshop provides the foundational knowledge needed to continue experimenting with Godot independently and begin developing more complex game concepts.

The Art of the Pitch: Best Practices and Insights into the Creative Brief with Simon Landry (Ubisoft)

How does music shape the atmosphere, emotion, and storytelling of a video game? And how can you present your musical ideas in a way that responds to a game’s creative vision?
Ubisoft Music Supervisor Simon Landry will introduce key music theory concepts and share insights from his experience working on major video game projects at Ubisoft. The workshop explores how a creative brief informs a composer’s decisions and how musical ideas can be presented effectively.
Participants will also have the opportunity to share their own game music, receive feedback, and exchange ideas with others.

From Idea to VR Game World in Three Hours

Curious about how virtual reality game worlds are created? In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore i-Game’s new World Builder tool for creating VR game environments.
In addition to learning how to use the tool, participants will have the opportunity to share feedback and contribute to the platform’s development.
The workshop is suitable for beginners as well as experienced VR developers interested in exploring a new tool and comparing it with other platforms they have used.
