The exhibition “Architect Miia Masso. In Five Acts”, the second project of the practice-based doctoral research, draws on Masso’s personal archive and presents highlights from her more than fifty-year architectural career. Divided into five thematic acts, the exhibition explores Masso’s work from both the Soviet period and the years following the restoration of Estonia’s independence. It features apartment buildings, summer houses, private residences, public buildings, urban plans and commercial buildings characteristic of both periods. From the personal archive, a number of distinctive original works and documents are presented alongside copies that the architect regarded as an essential part of her portfolio.
The exhibition is open until 23 August.
