Borrowing
Register as a reader
To borrow items from the EKA Library, you should register as a user.
The library and its reading room are open to the public during library opening hours.
You have full borrowing rights if you are a
- student of EKA
- faculty member or employee of EKA
You have limited borrowing rights (textbooks, magazines, movies cannot be borrowed) if you are
- an art teacher
- academy’s alumni
- participating in an Open Academy course at EKA
- studying in another public university in Estonia or at, TTK University of Applied Sciences or the Tartu Art College
Deadlines
- books – 15 days, up to 10 items
- DVDs – 5 days, up to 3 items
- journals and magazines – 5 days, up to 3 items
- student theses – only available to use in the reading room (copies can be made only with the author’s permission)
You can return the books
- to the library
- to the return box in front of the library’s main door
You can extend your due date
- by logging in My ESTER, e-mailing at library@artun.ee or calling us at +372 6 267 334. You can extend for a maximum of two times only if there’s no waiting list for the item.
- the late fee is 0,05€/day
