Opening: Friday, November 13, 2026, at 6 PM
A body that blends with its surroundings and is inseparable from the rest of the world. Here it is born—from the water, into the water—covered in mud that conceals only deeper mud. Mud in the lungs, the eyes, the limbs. Its insides hang on the outside: two glass wombs, dragged along. Again and again—each time anew—Nuutinen’s strokes materialize into characters: parts of an open body that yearns for its own birth.
lungless is Rosa-Maria Nuutinen’s first solo exhibition in Estonia. It will be on view at the Uus Rada Gallery in Tallinn from November 14 to 24, 2026.
