Supervisor: Piret Vacht

The aim of the soil workshop is to explain the basics of soil science and its necessity in landscape design. In the course of the workshop supervised by Piret Vacht, students learned about the types of urban soil and the basis for perceiving the connection between soil peculiarities and the plant habitat preferences and thus came to understand the basic requirements of a landscaping project. The practical skills of soil science were tested by explaining the basic soil features and determining soil types.
