Visiting Staff

In addition to the main teaching staff, Interior Architecture classes are supervised by dozens of other professionals in interior architecture, architecture, design, art, theory, psychology and many other disciplines who work elsewhere on a daily basis, but share their knowledge and experience with our students through various design studios and elective courses.

The main supervisors of the first-year bachelor’s design studios in recent years have been Ardo Hiiuväin and Eeros Lees. The masters of the EKA wood workshop Oliver Kanniste and Avo Tragel have been of great help in acquiring woodworking skills and conducting construction practice.

In recent years, the central supervisors for the second-year living space project have been Malle Jürgenson, Eve Komp, and Liina-Liis Pihu. In addition to Malle Järgenson, the educational space has been supervised by Madli Kaljuste and Merilin Tee.

The core courses of the third year are supervised by Veiko Liis and Ville Lausmäe, who are assisted in teaching final theses and portfolios by Anna Kaarmaa and Grete Tiigiste.

In addition to them, several renowned interior architects, architects, designers and engineers teach bachelor’s students’ specialist subjects, such as Aleksander Jakovlev, Annika Kaldoja, Päär-Joonap Keedus, Anna-Grete Konsap, Henri Kopra, Elina Liiva, Maria Luiga, Ove Oot, Tõnu Peipman, Helena Rummo, Linda Zupping, Jaan Tiidemann, Iiris Tähti Toom, Marko Uibo, Paco-Ernest Ulman, Siiri Vallner and Toivo Varjas.

Drawing and painting lecturers Jüri Kass, Lisette Lepik, Maiu Rõõmus, Maryliis Teinfeldt-Grins, Mart Vainre, and Mikk Meelak, Martin Merila and Vitali Valtanen, who are responsible for program studies, also play an important role in bachelor’s studies.

Theoretical and practical general and liberal arts subjects are taught by, among others, Sven Aluste, Brigitta Davidjants, Triin Jerlei, Flo Kasearu, Karolin Kaup, Katrin Kullasepp, Andrus Laansalu, Eva-Erle Lilleaed, Liisa-Helena Lumberg-Paramonova, Triin Metsla, Heleriin Ots, Hannes Palang, Janek Siidra, Mary-Ann Talvistu, Malvo Tominga and Veronika Valk-Siska.

At the BA level, foreign lecturers Masayo Ave, Martin Relander, Mirenchu Sardina Ruiz, Ilkka Jaakko Suppanen, Yrjö Wiherheimo teach.
