FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Must the candidate’s bachelor’s degree be in a speciality related to art?
No. We also welcome the graduates of other specialities. What’s important is a connection to art, which can also mean actively viewing art and/or reading about art.
In order to be admitted to the master’s programme in art education, must the candidate have worked as a teacher?
No. Previous experience in teaching or adult education is not necessary.
What should I do if I am not admitted?
Come again next year and use the intervening time wisely – go to exhibitions, read, think and develop your master’s project further!
There are few art classes in schools. Will I really be able to find work later?
The Academy’s art education specialty takes into consideration the largest number of possible teachers and considers art as one of the most important opportunities for lifelong and hobby studies. Our graduates find professional work as well as create it themselves.
