Joel Kopli graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts with a degree in architecture and urban planning and from the Tallinn University of Technology with a degree in architecture. In 2011, together with Koit Ojaliivi and Juhan Rohtla, he founded KUU Architects. Kopli has won prizes in several local and international competitions and has been nominated for the Mies van der Rohe European Architecture Prize. Since 2014, he has supervised the 2nd year specialty project of EAA architecture and interior architecture. He is a member of the Estonian Association of Architects.
