On June 18th, the winners of the bicycle shed design competition were announced at the opening of the exhibition in Telliskivi Creative Quarter Vaba Lava building.
First Prize, 1000€: proposal KOOKON by Elis Kostabi (Tallinn University of Applied Sciences) and Siim Tiigimägi (Estonian Academy of Arts).
Three proposals received Second Prize (a 417€):
TRIANGEL by Ats Buddell, Hanna-Liisa Mõtus, Mae Köömnemägi (Estonian Academy of Arts Architecture and Urban Design department)
VELOTUBE by Karolin Kõrge (Estonian Academy of Arts Product Design)
RATTAMAJA by Karl Taul (Estonian Academy of Arts Interior Architecture department)
In addition the jury decided to give special mention to proposals KUUR – Harri Kaplan (Estonian Academy of Arts Architecture and Urban Design department), VILU – Inke-Brett Eek (Estonian Academy of Arts Architecture and Urban Design department) and Juhan Teppart (Estonian Natural Sciences University Landscape Architecture department) and PUNANE, KOLLANE, LILLELINE VÕI MUMMUDEGA – Mihkel Räni Raev ja Ulla Alla (Estonian Academy of Arts Architecture and Urban Design department).
