Overview

Students from partner universities seeking for exchange information, are welcome to visit our mobility website.

EKA is  one of the most international universities in Estonia, boasting collaborations with over 100 partner universities worldwide. While the majority of these partners are located in Europe, EKA also maintains active collaborations with partners in Canada, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Thailand, Kenya, China, Japan, and other countries.

An impressive 67% of our alumni have studied or conducted a traineeship abroad, engaging in both short- and long-term mobility programs. Each year, we welcome approximately 100 incoming exchange students. EKA actively participates in the ERASMUS+ KA131 and ERASMUS+ KA171 International Credit Mobility programs, with our outgoing student mobility ratio being the highest among public universities in Estonia. The balance between outgoing and incoming student mobility is well-maintained. Feedback from incoming exchange students highlights EKA’s highly valued small study groups and individualized approach, facilitated by highly professional academic tutors.

As of 2020, EKA participates in Transform4Europe European Universities initiative.

If your institution is interested in establishing a collaboration agreement with Estonian Academy of Arts, you are welcome to turn to the International Office.

International programmes for full time studies are available at both, BA and MA level. PhD programmes are international. Students wishing to study at the EKA through exchange programmes can find information here.

EKA partner universities within and outside the Erasmus+ programme. Here you will find an overview of all EKA partnerships (including research and development cooperation, academic and staff mobility, etc.). Please note that not all agreements are necessarily open for student exchange at all times. The database is updated at least twice a year—on 1 February and 21 August. For further questions, please contact the International Relations Office: international@artun.ee.
