The Transform4Europe work packages (WP) comprise a set of tasks that are carried out through a phased implementation process. The Estonian Academy of Arts participates in the following work packages:

WP1 – Management & Joint Infra coordinates the overall management, governance and shared infrastructure of the alliance. It supports joint decision-making and long-term institutional cooperation through common governance structures, the rotating T4EU Presidency, the alliance’s legal framework and shared services such as the Joint Grants Office.

WP2 – Mobility for All makes international mobility more accessible, inclusive and easier to organise for students and staff. It develops common mobility procedures and coordinated support services, including standard planning, buddy networks, welcome activities and information sessions, helping participants prepare for and integrate into exchanges across the alliance.

WP3 – Transforming Curricula develops flexible and collaborative education across universities. It supports joint Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes, seamless vertical mobility between partner institutions, a shared approach to microcredentials and digital access to alliance-wide courses through the T4EU Metacampus.

WP4 – DocEd & Innovative Ecosystems strengthens doctoral education, research cooperation and innovation across the alliance. It develops joint PhD programmes and tracks, operates the Joint PhD Support Office, supports researcher mobility and training, and connects researchers and regional stakeholders through matchmaking events, Transformation Labs and seed-funding activities.

WP5 – Professional Excellence supports the professional development of academic and non-academic staff. It provides training, reskilling and leadership-development opportunities while promoting innovative teaching, staff mobility, Open Science, FAIR data practices and support for early-stage researchers.

WP6 – Campus Life & Wellbeing improves the everyday campus experience of students and staff by promoting sustainability, inclusion, diversity and wellbeing. Its activities support a shared green campus identity, better study and working conditions, student participation, cultural exchange, mental-health awareness and healthier daily habits.

WP7 – Common Heritage & Multilingualism strengthens a shared European identity through cultural heritage and multilingualism. It develops accessible language-learning opportunities, common language resources and certification, while connecting universities with galleries, libraries, archives, museums and other cultural partners through heritage workshops, festivals, competitions and digital initiatives.

WP8 – Outreach connects T4EU with civil society, regional stakeholders and international partners. It develops sustainable partnerships and public-engagement activities through global cooperation agreements, Science Cafés, science-communication training, service learning, podcasts and forums that bring academic knowledge to wider audiences.

WP9 – Communication coordinates communication and dissemination across the alliance. Through the Joint Communication Office, it manages shared messages, communication channels and promotional activities, increasing awareness of T4EU educational opportunities, mobility, multilingualism, research activities and regional cooperation among students, staff, stakeholders and the wider public.
