Artwork from the Estonian Academy of Arts Museum collection exhibited at Ülo Sooster’s centennial exhibition

On March 7th, the Estonian History Museum opened the first of Ülo Sooster’s centennial exhibitions, titled “Ülo Sooster: Prison and Love,” in the intimate exhibition hall of the Suurgild building. This exhibition is dedicated to the artist’s formative years.

Also on display at the exhibition is Sooster’s diploma work from 1949, “Asphalting of Tartu Street,” which is part of the collection of the Estonian Academy of Arts Museum.
