Under the guidance of fashion designer Liisi Eesmaa and artist Flo Kasearu, second-year students from the Fashion Design Department of the Estonian Academy of Arts – Rasmus Linde, Maria Lisanne Arumäe, Maigi Teino, Adel Rusin and Nataly Järvik – sought a new life for bed linens that had been removed from circulation from Tallink’s hotels and ships.
The now traditional Experimental Forms Exhibition of the Estonian Academy of Arts, celebrating its tenth anniversary, took place from 10 March to 24 March 2026 in the atrium of Viru Centre. This year’s exhibition invited visitors to experience a liminal space.
This time, the exhibition transported visitors into the in-between state of sleep and wakefulness – into a blue hotel room where nothing is entirely real, yet everything feels strangely familiar.
