EKA Students and Staff Take Part in Transform4Europe Week in Lisbon

EKA students and staff are taking part in Transform4Europe Week “Community, Communities: Engage to Transform”, held from 25–29 May 2026 in Lisbon, Portugal. The event is hosted by Universidade Católica Portuguesa and brings together students, academic staff and professional staff from Transform4Europe partner universities for a week of learning, collaboration, governance and community engagement.

This year’s T4EU Week explores the role of universities as active and engaged actors in society. The programme focuses on strengthening the shared academic and institutional community of the Transform4Europe Alliance while connecting it with diverse local and global communities.

The week’s activities are structured around the core Transform4Europe focus areas: digital transformation, environmental transformation, societal transformation and knowledge entrepreneurship. Students take part in interdisciplinary courses and joint sessions, while staff participate in meetings, workshops and networking activities supporting the strategic development of the alliance.

The Lisbon edition of T4EU Week brings together 470 participants from 36 countries and 16 universities. In addition to academic and governance activities, the programme includes cultural and social events designed to support intercultural exchange, well-being and community-building.

EKA is a member of the Transform4Europe Alliance, which brings together universities across Europe to develop new forms of international cooperation, mobility and shared learning.
