The defense of this year’s master’s theses in the Department of Interior Architecture will take place on Thursday, June 4, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the -1 floor of the EKA White Building, in room V002 (Kotzebue 10). The defenses will also be broadcast live and can be viewed on EKA TV (live.artun.ee)

12:00–13:00 Rebeka Kollo “Unbounded Security: A Journey Through Urban Streets and Women’s Fears” Reviewer: Katrin Koov.

2:00–3:00 PM Mari-Liis Ardens “Space as an Invisible Companion: Vulnerability and Time in the Journey of Plastic Surgery” Reviewer: Loviise Talvaru.
3:00–4:00 PM Gert Christansjon “Sheltering Together: Cross-Use Shelter Strategies in Soviet-Era Apartment Buildings” Reviewer: Diana Drobot.
The master’s theses were supervised by Mariann Drell, Pavle Stamenović, and Gregor Taul.
The master’s theses will be evaluated by a committee consisting of Ardo Hiiuväin (committee chair), Sille Pihlak, Alina Nurmist, Helen Oja, and Tarmo Piirmets. The committee secretary is Marie-Katharine Maksim.
The master’s theses in interior architecture can be viewed at the TASE exhibition on the -1 floor of the EKA White Building and at the TASE online exhibition. The exhibition is open until June 19, daily from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Stop by!
