The Global Partnership Forum was a key highlight of Transform4Europe Week (T4EU) in Lisbon, bringing together representatives from T4EU universities, international partners, researchers, lecturers and students to discuss the role of universities in addressing global challenges through collaboration.
Opening the event, Universidade Católica Portuguesa President Isabel Capeloa Gil highlighted the value of international academic cooperation and university alliances as spaces where knowledge is co-created across borders and disciplines.
The programme featured keynote discussions on the future of European universities, research and teaching, with contributions from academic leaders and researchers across the T4EU alliance. Forums topics included mobility, innovation in teaching, talent retention and the role of universities in strengthening the European project.
A highlight of the day was the signing of memoranda of understanding with Oregon State University, Moi University, OP Jindal University and the University of São Paulo, reinforcing Transform4Europe’s global partnerships.
