All universities in the Transform4Europe alliance are joining forces through T-RISE (Transforming Regional Innovation Ecosystems for Sustainable and Digitally Enabled Entrepreneurship), a new two-year project funded by the EIT Higher Education Initiative.
Coordinated by the University of Alicante, T-RISE brings together T4EU universities, innovation organisations and industry partners to strengthen regional innovation ecosystems and support the next generation of entrepreneurs. The project will focus on sustainable and digitally enabled entrepreneurship, closer collaboration between universities, businesses and regional stakeholders, and turning research into market-ready innovation.
A key outcome will be the creation of a Joint Innovation Office (JIO) for the Transform4Europe alliance, providing coordinated support for innovation, entrepreneurship and knowledge transfer. The project will also develop micro-credentials and new incubation, acceleration and mentoring programmes for students, researchers and staff.
Selected as one of 35 projects from 138 applications, T-RISE will further connect the Transform4Europe Alliance with the wider EIT innovation ecosystem, supporting new opportunities for students, researchers, entrepreneurs and innovators across Europe.
