Walking Mass on the Freedom Square
The team at VENT Space is proud to present NUUM Collective’s “Walking Mass (A walking mass to memorialize a year of collective separation.)” in Vabaduse väljak (Freedom Square) in Tallinn on the 19th of June 2021.
We will go for a walk, connected by the sound of our voices through a mass phone call. We will follow each other, circle each other, leave and return to each other and ultimately decide together where we want to go.
The walk will be documented from 80 meters in the air with a drone camera.

There will be two walks; one at 17:00 and a second at 18:00. Participants will be able to participate in one walk and will receive a text message and email on the 18th of June to confirm the time of the walk they will participate in. The experience of each walk will last ~ 1 hour.
The walks will be followed by a Q and A with NUUM Collective at VENT Space at 19:00. VENT SPACE tiim esitleb uhkusega NUUM kunstnikerühmituse üritust “Jalutav mass”, mälestamaks aastat kollektiivses eraldatuses. Üritus leiab aset Tallinnas Vabaduse väljakul 19ndal juunil.
Jalutuskäiku juhatab üks ühine telefonikõne, kus kõik jalutajad osa võtavad. Jalutajad käivad koos, moodustades üksteist jälitades erinevaid mustreid, lõpus aga antakse valik kus pärast kollektiivset jalutuskäiku tuleb meil ise otsustada kuhu me minna tahame.
Jalutuskäik dokumenteeritakse drooniga umbes 80 meetri kõrguselt õhust.
