What is CIRRUS about and how is it connected to EKA? Rachel Troye (The Oslo School of Architecture and Design, AHO) and Maria Göransdotter (Kolding School of Design) are here with answers:  Cirrus is all about connecting people across design and and crafts education in the Nordics and Baltics. So it’s about bringing people together, to do things and to develop design and to share knowledge and practices. EKA is an incredibly important collaborator in that network. CIRRUS is here to support students to go visit other educators. They come together in courses and education sharing platforms. But also staff. CIRRUS is here to send technical administration and staff across boarders, to get together and to learn from each other and visit each others environments and to become better together. We are so grateful to the super people here, especially Sandra Mell, who is the main coordinator of the full network and has been doing that for a long time. EKA manages and coordinates the full network. EKA is instrumental in managing and keeping the network alive. – CIRRUS is a Nordic-Baltic network of Art and Design higher education. There are 18 excellent art and design schools from the Nordics and the Baltics in the circle of this cooperation. The central activities of the partner institutions are art and design, including innovative activities, technical development and artistic practices.
