Each year, the Estonian Academy of Arts organises the Applied Research, Development and Creative Works Competition for students. The competition aims to encourage bachelor’s and master’s students, as well as recent graduates, to apply the results of their studies and research in the business, public and non-profit sectors, while also raising public awareness of how the university’s knowledge and expertise are put into practice in industry and society.
The competition is particularly suitable for EKA students whose course project or thesis has an applied outcome, meaning that the results of the work are already adopted or have the potential to be adopted and used by companies or other organisations.
Eligible works must have been completed between 1 September 2025 and 31 August 2026.
To participate, applicants must submit their projects via this application form together with all required supporting materials no later than by 14 September 17.00 (Tallinn time).
The email must include the email addresses of all authors of the submitted work or project in the list of recipients.
