Submit Your Work for the EKA 111 Auction!
On EKA’s 111th birthday on Thursday October 30th, the traditional EKA auction will take place, headed by Siim Raie. Works by alumni, staff and students will be up for sale. Half of the proceeds from the auction will go to scholarships for students and half to the authors. The starting price for all items is 111€.
The theme of the auction and the works is “Special First”. We welcome works, designs, and all kinds of creations that are first in one way or another—among their peers or in the author’s oeuvre. The first to make it to the exhibition, the first that you think was successful, the first that received positive feedback, etc.
The final selection of 11 items will be made by the organizing committee. More information about the auction and birthday will be added to the EKA website and social media in the coming weeks. You are welcome to share the open call with other EKA alumni, staff and students.
How to submit your work?
Send your proposal by October 7th to eka@artun.ee with the subject line “EKA 111 Oksjon” and include the following:
one photo of the author
two photos of the auction item
a brief description of the work with an introduction explaining what makes it a “Special First”
