Narva Veneetsia
The film by Alexandra Pärn tells the story of a quiet summer paradise where locals meet international artists. Narva Art Residency offers artists from different countries the opportunity to find inspiration in the Kulgu district on the Estonian-Russian border, known as the Venice of Narva due to the power plant’s water channels. A visit to the boat garage summer district offers a glimpse into both the vibrant activities of the local commnity and the artistic explorations of residents Hildegard, Javier, and Marilyn, who have arrived in this unique and unpredictable environment. The film was shot during the summer of 2025.
The documentary premiered on ETV on January 25, 2026 and is now also available on Jupiter website: https://jupiter.err.ee/1609904699/eesti-lood
