PIE (Platform Internationalisation ELIA) is a platform for discussion, cooperation and guidance for your institution’s approach to internationalisation. It serves as a space for sharing knowledge on implementing the different facets of internationalisation within higher arts education institutions.
PIE was initiated by ELIA in 2018 thanks to Aparajita Dutta and Thomas Greenough, with the aim of establishing a grassroots group involved in researching and implementing internationalisation in higher arts education institutions.
Faced with the challenges of internationalisation in the 21st century, the platform raises critical questions and addresses pressing issues within internationalisation in higher arts education.
PIE focuses on internationalisation within arts education, including:
Implementation of strategies and policies
Impact of internationalisation on curriculum development
Students and staff development through internationalisation
Supporting exchanges and institutional cooperation
