On August 25, the Sakala 3 Theatre House hosted the fashion event “Finiśage”, which put fashion art on the stage.
Five fashion designers who graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts in the spring of 2025 were able to present their bachelor’s thesis collections and the accompanying research to the audience without any concessions.
The performance was a joint crossing of the finish line of their educational path together. However, this line does not simply mark the end point, but the beginning of their professional journey.
A traditional fashion show requires extreme speed, both behind the scenes and on stage, and it is difficult for the viewer to truly delve into the essence of the designer’s creation. “Finiśage brought fashion to the stage as a performance – an environment where time, attention and immersion are a natural part of the experience.
The collections were presented by Kristiina Tali, Jaagup Kaiv, Hanna Tiina Pekk, Ron Verlin and Maria Roosiaas.
