Tasks of the photography intern:
- Taking photographs of gallery events (e.g. openings, tours, workshops) and editing them (1-2 times per month)
- Taking exhibition views and editing them (1-2 times per month)
The photography intern can use equipment from EKA rental and use computers at EKA for editing. The intern will receive ongoing feedback from the gallerist and the exhibition team for the tasks performed, and if necessary, corrections must be made based on the comments.
Tasks of the graphic design intern:
- Creating and presenting design concepts to the exhibition team and gallerist
- Designing the exhibition’s communication and distribution materials
The design is completed in cooperation with the exhibition team, who together with the gallerist provide feedback on the initial visions and choose the preferred version. Based on the comments, the final design is prepared. The intern can use EKA’s computers for designing. Print materials are ordered by the gallerist. In agreement with the graphic design department, also possible to use the Risograph printer.
Working period: spring or fall semester of 2026
NB! The graphic designer will start working mid-December in order to have the materials ready in time for the exhibition, which opens in early January.
Fee: 300€ and 3 study credits per semester
