“The Erasmus+ programme is a strategic strength of EKA. The fact that we receive applications from such a wide range of countries clearly shows that we have made consistent and meaningful efforts in developing international cooperation and contributing to the objectives of the European Union’s education area,” said Rector Prof Hilkka Hiiop. “International mobility enriches our learning environment and creates valuable connections that support both student development and the broader creative sector.”

The broad and diverse interest confirms EKA’s strong international standing and attractiveness as a destination for students in the fields of art, design, and architecture. The Erasmus+ programme supports student and staff mobility, fosters international collaboration, and contributes to the development of a high-quality and inclusive European education area.

International mobility is an integral part of EKA’s activities, and the growing interest in exchange studies reflects both the strength of its partnerships and the quality of its education on an international level.
