EKA 2025 Graduates Reach Record High in Erasmus+ Programme: 86% Participated in Mobility

EKA is delighted to announce that a record number of its 2025 graduates participated in Erasmus+ mobility programs: an impressive 86% of graduates took part in international Erasmus+ mobility during their studies.

Hilkka Hiiop, Rector of EKA, emphasizes the significance of international mobility: “International experience is at the heart of an EKA education and a unique strength of our academy. We are committed to ensuring that every EKA student has the opportunity to participate in exchange semesters during both their bachelor’s and master’s studies. After graduation, the recent alumni Erasmus+ internship further enhances their career prospects.”

As Estonia’s sole art university, EKA prioritizes enhancing students’ competitiveness and enriching their academic experience through international mobility. Participation in international mobility not only supports students’ personal and creative development but also prepares them effectively for the global creative industry and job market.

Heli Aru-Chabilan, Head of the Education Programmes Centre at the Education and Youth Board (Department of Youth and Internationalisation) commented: “EKA is an excellent example of how mobility can be successfully integrated and implemented in alignment with the strategic objectives of a university.”

EKA remains dedicated to ensuring every graduate leaves the academy equipped with extensive international experience and world-class skills.
