Urban space month at Laagna Gymnasium

Many educational institutions in Tallinn have marked January 2023 as the month of urban space awareness.
In Tallinna Laagna High School, in addition to other activities, there is an exhibition of final theses of the architecture and urban planning specialty of the EKA. On the 2nd floor of the school is exhibited:
• Merilin Kaup “Practical utopias”
• Mia Martina Peil “Vesse: from an industrial area to a coherent urban space”
• Marie Anette Veesaar “Mobility room close to school”
• Tristan Krevald “Paljasaare drift”
By looking at the exhibition, you can get an idea of ​​what urban planning is all about, what issues urban planners deal with and at what scale they work.
The thesis about the Vesse region also includes a model, which offers exciting recognition for the people of Lasnamäe.
