From 24th of November to 28th of November, EKA hosted an Erasmus BIP workshop “Godot Game Making for Beginners”. The workshop introduced students to the basics of the Godot game engine through the lens of contemporary art, focusing on creating original interactive game environments and integrating them into their own artistic practices. By the end of the course, students were be able to design interactive environments, critically reflect on their artistic work, and explore the relationship between contemporary art and video games.
The workshop was attended by 14 students from four partner schools: Academy of Fine Arts Vienna (6 students), Aalto University (2 students), the Department of New Media at the Estonian Academy of Arts (4 students), and Konstfack – University of Arts, Crafts and Design (2 students).
