Nowadays, talking about design has become a popular, even fashionable topic for the general public. This book brings together articles about product design, as well as design in general. The writings are grouped thematically, and the most important advocates and critics of the field are covered. While criticism and statements of recent times are at least partly available online, older articles and important discussions of their time are sinking into oblivion. All the more, our designers, writers, design pain points and star classes deserve to be remembered. The collection is intended for students, master’s and doctoral students of the Academy of Arts and other higher education institutions, as well as design and art science professionals and people interested in culture.
